Hemogram with Special Reference to IMHA
Anaemia is a common clinical finding in canine and feline practice and may result from blood loss, haemolysis, or reduced red blood cell production. This webinar focuses on the diagnosis and management of anaemia, with special emphasis on immune-mediated haemolytic anaemia (IMHA), one of the most challenging haematological disorders in small animal medicine. Participants will learn how to approach anaemic patients systematically, interpret laboratory findings, differentiate regenerative from non-regenerative anaemia, and recognize the clinical features of IMHA. The session also discusses diagnostic testing, treatment protocols, monitoring strategies, and prognostic considerations. Designed for veterinary students, interns, postgraduate learners, and practicing veterinarians, this webinar provides practical guidance for managing anaemic patients in everyday clinical practice.
